Thrift Savings Plan (TSP)
TSP Open Season - The Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) no longer has open seasons. You may start, stop, or change your TSP contributions at any time via myPay.
Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) Program
The Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) Program does not have regular recurring open seasons. Enrollments and increases (OPM) in coverage are allowed outside of an open season. You may decrease or waive coverage at any time by completing an SF-2817 and forwarding it to your benefits contact.
Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP)
The Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) does not have annual open seasons. So you really can't count on a future open season at any time soon. AND - there is no guarantee that any future open season will offer abbreviated underwriting. BUT - you do NOT need to wait for an open season! If you're in an eligible group (LTCFEDS), you can apply at any time, using the full underwriting application (LTCFEDS). Please visit www.ltcfeds.com for information.
