NIH Human Resources Intranet
Much of our Human Resources information and content is available only to NIH employees and is located on the HR Intranet. Although the public OHR website contains some information, we would recommend that NIH employees and staff go to our internal content which is located on the NIH Portal in five “Communities” as well as in the Document Directory of the NIH Portal. NIH employees may also set up their own “MyPage” on the NIH Portal and can include human resources information on their “MyPage” by adding OHR portlets to personalize their page. We have developed user guides and tutorials on using the HR Intranet information, please see the HR Intranet User Guides page.
The two HR Communities on the NIH Portal are:
- Human Resources (HR) Community – provides content and information for NIH employees. The Community consists of several pages of information organized by topic as well as by audience. The HR Community pages are: NIH Employees, Admin/Manager, Hiring Resources for Managers, New NIH Employees, Title 5 Compensation, Title 42 at the NIH, Senior Executive Service (SES), Clinical Center, Career Development and Training, HR Calendar, and the Alphabetical HR Search Index.
- HR Professionals Community – provides information and resources to NIH OHR staff. The Community consists of several pages of information organized by topic as well as by audience. The HR Professionals Community pages are: HR Professionals, Administrative Procedures for OHR staff, Alphabetical HR Search Index, HR Calendar, HR Career Development & Training, CSD, CSD Dashboard, HHS Careers for HR, HR SAID Activities, HR SAID Dashboard, Senior Executive Service (SES), Title 5 Staffing, Title 5 Compensation, Title 42 at the NIH, USAJOBS, WRD, and WiTS Community.
