The Access Management System

The Access Management System (AMS, Single Sign-On) will be unavailable on the following days as it prepares to launch AMS 6.0 Wave 2:

  • Tuesday, July 29th 6:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Friday, August 1st 8:00pm - Saturday August 2 6:00pm

eOPF (Electronic Official Personnel Folder)

The electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) 5.0 upgrade is not complete, yet most functions are available. The following functions/items are still being worked on:

  • Unable to access/open user documents as a “super user” in IE8 (Internet Explorer version 8).
    • Work Around #1: Use the web browser Mozilla Firefox and navigate to ams.hhs.gov, login to eOPF with your NIH Network Credentials. Navigate to the ‘search eOPF screen’ and search for the user, you will now be able to open the specific document. Note: You may receive a pop up blocker message on your top tool bar, if this happens, click on ‘options’ and then “allow pop ups from eOPF.nbc.gov”
    • Work Around #2: Use the web browser Google Chrome and navigate to ams.hhs.gov, login to eOPF with your NIH Network Credentials or PIV card. Navigate to the ‘search eOPF screen’ and search for the user, you will now be able to open the specific document. Note: You may receive a pop up blocker message on your top tool bar, if this happens, click on ‘options’ and then “allow pop ups from eOPF.nbc.gov”
  • Problem with the print folder function.
  • The eAuth enabled page for HHS says “Dept of Agriculture”.
