Welcome to the Human Capital Group (HCG) website. HCG refers to two sister organizations at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the Office of the Director (OD), Office of Management (OM). These organizations are the Office of Strategic Management Planning (OSMP) and the Office of Human Resources (OHR). This is the public site for the HCG and the primary source of HR and Human Capital information for people outside of the NIH (job-seekers, former employees, the public). HCG provides strategic programs, client services, and workforce relations support to NIH. The vision of HCG is to make the NIH Human Capital Organization the best and most valued HR office within the Federal Government. As such, NIH managers work in partnership with their HR staff to meet the needs of their employees and to meet the unique mission of the NIH.
